IDEAL Shower Doors is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Workshop Technician to support our Logistics & Operations team. This full-time, onsite role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and ensuring the behind-the-scenes operations run smoothly. You\’ll play a key part in preparing materials for our installation crews, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, and contributing to successful job execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and running efficiently
- Cut and label parts accurately for upcoming job site installations
- Apply surface protection coatings to glass products
- Receive, inspect, and stage incoming glass deliveries from the factory
- Use a tape measure and glass inspection techniques to identify correct orientation (inside vs. outside face)
- Prep materials and ensure all items are properly labeled for each project
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of company trucks and equipment
- Support installation teams by ensuring tools, parts, and materials are readily available
- Assist with miscellaneous shop tasks and operational support as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a hands-on, warehouse, or workshop role (general construction industry preferred)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping workspaces organized
- Ability to use a tape measure with accuracy and confidence
- Familiarity with basic tools and safe handling of glass is a plus
- Physically capable of lifting glass panels and materials safely
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Reliable and punctual
