Rochester Custom Exteriors is looking for an experienced Outdoor Construction Installer to join our Field Operations team. This hands-on role focuses on high-end residential exterior remodels throughout the Greater Rochester area. We specialize in quality over quantity-no rushed production, just precise craftsmanship using top-tier materials like James Hardie Fiber Cement and LP SmartSide. Key Responsibilities
- Install high-end exterior siding on residential properties
- Work with fiber cement, engineered wood, and other advanced siding products
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized job site
- Coordinate with team members and project leads for quality completion
- Lift up to 80 lbs and work at heights
- Maintain tools and ensure proper use of personal equipment
- Transport materials and tools to job sites in the Rochester area
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in siding installation preferred
- Read blueprints and take accurate site measurements is a plus
- Proficiency with James Hardie Fiber Cement and/or LP SmartSide siding is ideal
- Experience limited to vinyl siding is acceptable but not preferred
- Must own a tool belt and essential hand tools
- Reliable transportation required
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Able to work full shifts: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM (paid lunch included)
