About The Content Emporium: At The Content Emporium we offer a high level plug-in content marketing support to comprehensively fill the gaps in the skills and resources that large brands have in-house. With a team of 72 strategic, creative experts, we offer a vast suite of services, including strategy, design, copywriting, social content creation, photography, community management, motion graphics and much more. From Instagram reels and TikTok management to email marketing and print magazines, we deliver a wide range of engaging content services.
Why we are hiring: We currently serve a diverse client base, from FTSE 100 property giant Landsec to national food service group Caterfood. We have ambitious plans for 2026, and our remit is growing. This means we need more Content Creators with presenting skills on the team to ensure we are delivering best-in-class video and static content for our clients’ channels.
The roles: We’re seeking experienced Content Creators to present and film fun, engaging social content while out and about on location with our clients. The ability to film content on iPhone, capture ‘influencer-style’ photography, undertake video editing and take on copywriting tasks is essential. You will report to the Creative Social Lead or the Social Strategy Lead at The Content Emporium and work across our client portfolio to create content for TikTok and Instagram, and other channels as the need arises.
Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):
- Going on content creation visits around the UK, mainly at shopping centres currently, but requirements may change.
- Presenting to camera - this may include interactions with the public, interviewing, showcasing products and doing voice-overs for TikTok / Instagram videos.
- Shooting video content and stills on an iPhone. You may also need to use other basic equipment such as mics, tripods and props as the brief requires.
- Helping to craft the briefs for the content creation, taking the raw ideas and helping shape them into something that will work well out on location.
- Bringing your own ideas to the brief where appropriate, either when helping to shape it, or while out on the visit.
- Thinking on your feet to deliver exceptional channel-appropriate content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- Processing and renaming of all content and following our company processes to deliver the content to the relevant ‘next step’ in a timely manner.
- When not out on location, your time will be used for video editing, copywriting and other editorial tasks for social media or other digital channels.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social trends, technologies and best practice.
- Willingness to travel within the UK (some overnight stays will be required).
The ideal candidates will have:
- At least 1 years’ experience working on content creation professionally or an impressive history of content creation for your own channels.
- A good on-screen presence, with a confident, warm manner and an appearance that will appeal to our audiences on the different channels.
- A willingness to tailor your clothing and TOV to suit different clients' channels.
- A good understanding of the nuances of good social content for each channel and how to use this for driving client objectives.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- A self-starting attitude.
- Really strong content capture abilities with an iPhone.
- Strong copywriting abilities.
- Video editing skills (a ‘nice-to-have’).
- In-depth knowledge of the social media landscape.
This is a physically demanding job with a lot of travel and movement around shopping centres required, so candidates must be happy to do this. These are permanent full-time roles with a salary of £28,000-£32,000 per annum. Hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday as standard, but a typical week will often include travel outside these hours. All full-time employees get 25 days paid holiday per year in addition to all bank holidays. Employees are auto-enrolled into our pension scheme and benefit from health insurance.
The application process: Please submit a CV and cover letter plus a short (max 2 pages) case study of a piece of social content you’re proud of. Please send all of this to jobs@thecontentemporium.co.uk with the subject line ‘Content Creator / Presenter application’. We do not accept any 'easy apply' applications, so you must use the email route. Please make it clear in the application where you are located. Deadline: Monday 9th February 2026 (11.59pm).
Our commitment: We are actively trying to create an inclusive and diverse environment. All applicants will be considered for employment based on suitability for the role alone and without attention to age, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family or parental status, neurodiversity or disability status.
