Freelance Social Community Manager – Remote

Are you a social media enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and a passion for community engagement? We’re looking for a Freelance Social Community Manager to join our team and help monitor and manage online interactions for our clients. This is a remote, home‑based role offering flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends. In particular we are seeking people who can regularly work ALL of the following shifts:
- Thursdays 2pm - 9pm
- Fridays 6pm - 9pm
- Saturdays 9am - 2pm
- Sundays every other week 9am - 2pm
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and @mentions across various clients' social media platforms
- Ensure brand tone of voice and messaging guidelines are followed in all interactions
- Engage with audiences, fostering positive conversations and community growth
- Identify and elevate potential issues or trends to the appropriate team members
- Provide concise and accurate reporting on engagement and community sentiment
About you:
- Previous experience in social media management, community moderation, or written customer engagement
- Excellent written communication skills with a professional and friendly tone
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and work independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer
