The Consumer Council is recruiting for a Director of Policy and Communications to oversee our Policy and Communications Directorate. We are seeking an experienced and influential leader who can build trusted stakeholder relationships, provide strategic direction across policy, communications and public affairs, and ensure the consumer voice is represented at the highest levels. Eligibility criteria
- Proven experience of developing and delivering strategic communications, external affairs and campaign plans in a policy-led environment covering consumer, social and/or economic issues.
- Translating research, evidence and insight into policy positions, advocacy initiatives and influencing strategies that have informed decision-making.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £61,673 - £64,469. At the Consumer Council, you will receive an excellent pension scheme with 34.25% employer contribution, 25 days annual leave and 12 statutory holidays and excellent opportunities for professional development. The Consumer Council currently operates a hybrid working model.
