We’re growing and are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help us continue to support organisations on their journey to lower emissions and improved energy performance.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with clients and partners. The focus is on selling a broad range of energy and sustainability services to businesses with significant spend and complex needs.
This role sits within our Sales & Marketing team, which is focused on building and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities to support the company’s long-term growth. You’ll contribute directly to this by identifying and converting new prospects, as well as deepening value from existing relationships.
You’ll work closely with internal teams including lead generation and marketing, ensuring we connect with the right people and deliver the right solutions. Your ability to understand client challenges and communicate clearly will be key.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who has:
-
Experience in B2B sales within the energy or sustainability sector

A strong understanding of the solutions outlined above
-
A track record of working with mid to large-sized organisations, including at senior decision-making levels (e.g. CFO, FD, Directors)

The ability to ask the right questions, listen well, and identify how we can help

Confidence in managing their own pipeline and activity, with support from the wider team

Clear communication skills and a structured approach to managing work
It would be beneficial if you also have:

Experience launching new services into the market

Experience working with partners and building referral networks

Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how businesses make decisions around energy and carbon
