Our client Deloitte is seeking an Asset Engineer to be responsible for equipment setup, testing, packing and shipment as well as providing technical support to users for hardware issues. Working within tight schedules to supply equipment to large intakes of new team members, the Asset Engineer is required to work both quickly and accurately to ensure that projects can mobilise their people quickly without spending time dealing with computing issues.
The role is based on-site at Deloitte's offices in Reading. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong PC-build skills looking for a junior role focused on IT hardware and setup. The work is physical at times as it requires lifting, packing and moving laptops, monitors and peripherals.
