Key Responsibilities:
Integration Development:
- Design, build, test, and deploy integrations between Workday Financials and external systems using Workday’s integration tools such as EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to support data integration requirements.
Solution Design and Analysis:
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design scalable and efficient solutions that align with best practices and business needs.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Perform unit testing and support end-to-end testing of integrations to ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with functional Workday Financials consultants, business analysts, and client stakeholders to ensure successful integration delivery.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance during project phases, including discovery, design, and deployment.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for integrations, including data flows, mapping, and configuration settings.
- Provide training and support to technical teams and end-users as needed.
Post-Implementation Support:
- Monitor and maintain integrations after go-live, ensuring stability and addressing any issues promptly.
- Implement enhancements or changes to integrations as business needs evolve.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience with Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Strong understanding of Workday Financials modules, including Accounting, Assets, Procurement, Expenses, and/or Projects.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Workday integrations, preferably within the Financials domain.
- Experience with large-scale Workday implementations or upgrades.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Workday Integration certification or relevant Workday Financials certification is highly preferred.
