Interim Supply Chain Professional (Contract)
The Opportunity
The Consultancy Group is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst for an interim engagement with a global FMCG manufacturer. A great opportunity for a data-driven supply chain professional to apply their Power BI and planning analytics skills to improve visibility, forecasting, and decision-making in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance planning analytics to drive more accurate and efficient demand, supply, and inventory planning.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and digital reporting tools to deliver actionable insights to the planning and operations teams.
- Partner with stakeholders to streamline S&OP and planning processes, improving data flow and decision quality across multiple geographies.
- Analyse performance trends, highlight risks, and support scenario modelling to enable proactive planning decisions.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and data-driven solutions that create long-term value.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years’ experience in a supply chain or planning analytics role within an FMCG or manufacturing business.
- Proven experience building planning analytics and digital reporting tools.
- Advanced Power BI and Excel skills, with strong data integration capability
- Deep understanding of demand and supply planning fundamentals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, able to hit the ground running.
- Analytical and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
