Senior Business Analyst/Associate £55,000 plus 15% bonus Financial Services - Global Investment Central London Hybrid working- 3 days in office Global Investment Business The Opportunity This role supports the assessment and delivery of commercial opportunities through rigorous analysis of business and financial data. You will translate complex information into clear, decision-ready models and reports that inform new opportunities, monitor live engagements against plan and support client-facing asset valuation work. The position offers exposure to transaction analysis, financial modelling, due diligence and commercial decision-making, with the scope to manage projects independently and contribute to the development of junior colleagues. Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, economics or another relevant discipline. Typically two to three years of relevant experience in business analysis, transaction services, corporate finance, valuation, restructuring, consulting or a related analytical environment. Professional qualification, or progress towards one, such as CIMA, CFA or an equivalent credential, is desirable. Demonstrable experience of building and interpreting financial models and working with complex datasets. Skills and Capabilities Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability, with strong attention to detail and sound commercial judgement. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with confidence using Word and PowerPoint to produce high-quality reports and presentations. Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical analysis to non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work to tight deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team. Confident presenting your own work and responding constructively to challenge and feedback. Results-focused, proactive and organised, with effective time and project management skills. Willingness to travel periodically when required. Additional European language skills, particularly German or Spanish, would be advantageous but are not essential.
