The Consultancy Group are working for a leading hospitality business based in Manchester. The organisation are looking for a strong Finance Manager to work alongside the Operations Director and be the main point of contact. A great business which allows you to grow and develop yourself.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Operational Managers and the Commercial Finance Controller on budgeting, forecasting, and key decisions.
- Produce accurate monthly accounts, ensuring all contract activity (WIP, lifecycle, variations, projects) is correctly reflected.
- Ensure billing aligns with contractual terms, with clear supporting documentation to enable timely payment.
- Review site performance, providing clear analysis and commentary on financial results.
- Support and lead client meetings, including WIP, debt, and performance reviews.
- Maintain strong financial controls across purchasing, stock, and cost management.
- Identify risks and opportunities, supporting action plans to improve performance.
- Provide commercial insight and financial advice to operational teams.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and support wider business strategy delivery.
- Deliver regular reporting and support across both hard and soft services where required.
About you
- Qualified/QBE or PQ Accountant
- Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge, influence, and support stakeholders at all levels
- Able to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong commercial acumen with solid technical skills and the ability to deliver clear, accurate analysis
- Capable of balancing strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach
- Able to manage day-to-day priorities while identifying longer-term opportunities
