The Consultancy Group are supporting a Private Equity-backed Technology business looking for an Interim Corporate Development Lead to support M&A activity and manage deal execution. This role will focus on leading end-to-end deal execution, from sourcing and evaluation to purchase and sales agreement. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, private equity stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to identify and deliver strategic acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and execute potential M&A opportunities
  • Lead diligence processes and manage external advisors
  • Develop financial models and investment papers
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Commercial, Product)

Essential Experience

  • Strong experience in corporate development, M&A, or deal sourcing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead deals end-to-end autonomously
  • Proven commercial mindset and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in technology or high-growth sectors strongly preferred
  • Experience working in or with PE-backed companies
  • Available to start immediately or on short notice

Additional Experience

  • Ex-consultant from a top-tier strategy or M&A firm
  • Leading deal execution in SaaS or enterprise technology markets
