The Consultancy Group are looking for an experienced and commercially astute Procurement Director to oversee and manage end-to-end procurement operations. This position is focused on continuing transformation and management of the function, and requires someone confident in procurement operations, vendor management, the global Procure-to-Pay (PtP) process, including management of multinational in-house AP shared services centre.

  • Procurement Operations: Lead the daily procurement function and operations. Act as the key contact across the business for procurement-related support and guidance. Maintain workflows related to purchasing, onboarding, renewals, and supplier lifecycle management.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Handle end-to-end vendor management and lead commercial negotiations with vendors and service providers. Manage all contracts valued at £50,000+, ensuring compliance, risk management, and proper approvals.
  • Financial & PtP Oversight: Oversee procurement elements related to: Licensing and SaaS subscription management, PO creation and approvals, invoice and payment workflows, data accuracy and reporting. Manage and support a team, including accounts payable personnel.

Proven experience as a Senior Procurement Lead, or similar role. Operationally strong, with experience running established procurement processes. Familiarity with global Procure-to-Pay processes and/or shared services environments.
