To accelerate that growth, we are seeking an exceptional Director of Value Creation & Transformation to lead, build, and scale this high-potential vertical.
The Opportunity
This is a rare, entrepreneurial leadership role for a senior search professional seeking equity, P&L ownership, and a genuine route to MD/CEO within a fast-scaling search firm. You will take full ownership of our Transformation practice, shaping strategy, driving revenue, and expanding our footprint across global corporates, private equity, portfolio companies, and consulting clients. This is one of the highest-growth areas within our Value Creation offering, and you will play a pivotal role in defining its trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice Leadership & Growth
- Own the strategic direction of the Transformation practice, ensuring alignment with TCG’s Value Creation strategy.
- Build, scale, and lead a high-performing team with full P&L accountability.
- Identify new markets, service lines, and commercial opportunities across Transformation, Turnaround, Change, Operating Model & Post-Deal Value Creation.
- Client Development & Delivery
- Develop and expand senior relationships across:
- Global corporates (FTSE, Fortune, listed and non-listed)
- Mid- and large-cap Private Equity
- Portfolio companies across all stages of the deal cycle
- Tier-1 strategy and transformation consulting firms
- Deliver complex executive mandates across Transformation Leadership:
- Chief Transformation Officers
- Operating Model & Change Leaders
- Value Creation, PMO, and Post-Merger Integration specialists
- Transformation Directors/Partners within consultancies
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Proven track record operating as a Director or high-performing Senior Manager within executive search.
- Deep credibility within Transformation, Value Creation, Change, Strategy, or M&A-adjacent markets.
- Strong portfolio of relationships across corporates, PE, or consulting (ideally a mix).
- Demonstrable ability to build and scale a practice, including team leadership experience.
