We are seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to partner with senior commercial stakeholders and support strategic decision-making across both print and digital revenue streams. This role will provide financial insight, challenge, and analysis to help drive business performance, while ensuring robust forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes. The successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner, translating financial data into meaningful commercial recommendations and helping the business navigate an evolving digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering
    • Act as the primary finance partner to senior commercial leadership and wider commercial teams.
    • Build strong relationships across finance and non-finance functions to support business objectives.
    • Provide financial guidance and challenge to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Lead forecasting and budgeting processes across multiple revenue streams.
    • Develop and enhance financial and KPI reporting frameworks to provide actionable business insight.
    • Perform detailed analysis of revenue performance, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
    • Support long-term planning through scenario modelling and commercial analysis.
  • Reporting & Controls
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting through close collaboration with wider finance teams.
    • Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts, providing clear explanations of variances.
    • Develop reporting processes that improve visibility and support informed decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data quality.
    • Challenge existing ways of working and implement best-practice solutions.
    • Support the development of junior team members through coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience & Qualifications
    • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
    • Post-qualification experience within a commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering role.
    • Experience managing forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance reporting.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and present clear recommendations.

    • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
    • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business performance drivers.
