As a Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and broader team to deliver robust financial support and challenge to business stakeholders. You will play a key role in the full management accounting cycle, from budgeting and forecasting to strategic evaluation and financial reporting. Your insights and analysis will be critical to enabling informed decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely and detailed financial analysis to help business units monitor and understand their performance.
  • Provide clear, concise commentary on revenue, cost drivers, and overall business performance, offering actionable recommendations.
  • Support month-end close activities, including posting journals and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Identify budget variances, highlighting risks and opportunities, and propose strategies to address them.

  • Experience in retail or FMCG sectors, ideally retail.
  • Progressing towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
