The Consultancy Group have partnered with a Global Media Agency who are looking to recruit a Head of Finance Business Partnering to lead their UK Finance Business Partnering and Analyst team. Reporting to the CFO, this role will operate as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and will drive commercial decision-making and client profitability financial insight.
Duties include:
- Ownership of client portfolio accounts, ensuring robust financial management, governance, and oversight
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financials across revenue recognition, costs, margins, and working capital
- Provide insight on revenue forecasting, growth strategies, portfolio profitability and acting as a senior advisor to MDs across the business
- Partnering with new business to ensure a clear and robust pipeline
- Lead and develop the finance business partnering and analysis team and upskilling to deliver proactive financial support
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities within portfolios and drive corrective actions
- Ensure consistent understanding of profitability drivers across the business
- Lead budgeting and reforecasting processes, delivering clear and timely insights to the CFO and CEO
- Build strong, trusted relationships with Managing Directors and senior stakeholders across the agency
The successful candidate will come with significant post-qualified finance leadership experience gained within a Media Agency environment (this is a pre-requisite) and have the proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. They will be used to ‘owning’ client P&L’s and ensuring profitability on client contracts with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, translating complex financial information into actionable insight.
