Overview
We are supporting a global media and advertising organisation who recently went live with Workday Financials and are now entering a critical optimisation phase. The team is seeking an experienced Workday Finance Consultant to lead post-implementation improvement, enhance systems and processes, and ensure the platform delivers full value across finance. This is a high visibility, delivery focussed role within a growing internal Workday team, with immediate needs and a clear mandate for stabilisation and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Workday Financials optimisations initiatives following the recent go-live.
- Assess system issues, gather requirements, and ensure solutions are implemented effectively.
- Maximise the value of the platform and ensure it supports business-as-usual processes.
- Document requirements, outcomes, and process improvements clearly and consistently.
- Partner closely with the Workday HCM PM and wider internal team.
- Oversee delivery from problem-identification through to implementation.
- Manage relationships with ERP vendors, system integrators, and third-party consultants.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver project objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for ongoing system support and enhancements.
- Oversee vendor performance and service level agreements.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong, proven experience as a Project Manager within Workday Financials.
- Prior involvement in post-go-live optimisation, stabilisation, or system enhancement projects.
- Ability to quickly identify root causes and drive effective solutions.
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, communication, and documenting outcomes.
- Able to operate independently and drive delivery at pace.
