The Consultancy Group are supporting a Tier 1 strategy firm seeking a Senior Director to lead strategic sourcing across a complex and high‑value portfolio of Professional Services and Human Resources categories. This is a senior commercial role with global impact, responsible for defining category strategy, leading major negotiations, shaping supplier ecosystems, and delivering enterprise‑wide value creation. This role is accountable for long‑term sourcing strategy across categories such as recruitment, benefits, contract labour, payroll services, consulting, insurance, and advisory services, partnering closely with senior leaders across HR, Finance, Legal, Risk and other business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own global sourcing strategy for Professional Services & HR categories
- Lead high‑value, complex negotiations and commercial structuring
- Build and govern a resilient global supplier portfolio
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align sourcing with enterprise objectives
- Drive measurable value through cost optimisation, supplier performance, and demand management
- Leverage market intelligence, regulatory insight, and emerging delivery models to strengthen category strategy
