The M&A Integration Associate Director will be a key member of the value creation team, driving integration and carve-out programs across the business. This individual will work with deal teams, management teams, and functional leaders to translate integration strategies that deliver measurable EBITDA growth, cost savings, and operational synergies. The role requires a blend of strategic insight, execution discipline, and strong interpersonal skills to manage complex integrations across multiple industries and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-one readiness, 100-day planning, and long-term integration programs.
  • Ensure alignment of operating models, systems, and processes across portfolio companies.
  • Value Creation & Synergy Delivery
  • Identify, quantify, and deliver revenue and cost synergy opportunities.
  • Partner with CFOs and management teams to track synergy realisation against deal models.
  • Build KPIs and dashboards to monitor integration progress and value creation.
  • Act as trusted advisor to portfolio company leadership team.
  • Navigate sensitive cultural, organisational, and leadership challenges during integrations.
  • Manage communications and reporting with senior stakeholders, including Operating Partners.
  • Establish and manage integration PMO governance, ensuring discipline and accountability.
  • Anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect value.
  • Support board reporting with clear updates on progress, risks, and upside potential.

    • Provide integration input during due diligence and deal structuring.
    • Support carve-outs, add-on acquisitions, and platform roll-ups with tailored integration approaches.

    Requirements

    • 8+ years’ experience in M&A integration, consulting, corporate development, or private equity operations.
    • Proven track record of leading integration or carve-out programs in a PE or fast-paced, results-driven environment.
    • Exposure to multiple industries and complex, multi-jurisdictional integrations.
