The Consultancy Group are working with a Global Hospitality business on a Finance Manager opportunity. This is an opportunity within the Commercial team, where you will work closely with senior stakeholders and interpret complex data.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Commercial Finance team, you will play a critical role in maximising and controlling supply chain income across a complex supplier base. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving the optimisation of purchasing income across a broad and diverse supply chain.
- Ensuring supplier income and rebates are accurately tracked, reported, and collected in line with contractual terms.
- Identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance through supply chain consolidation and improved supplier engagement.
- Managing supplier rebate income end to end, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely recognition through robust validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Reviewing and preparing documentation for all agreed supplier rebates to ensure contractual compliance.
- Producing accurate forecasts of future rebate income using business forecasts and supplier participation rates.
- Supporting the recovery of outstanding supplier income and assisting with debt resolution where required.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for supply chain income, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the business.
- Supporting the preparation, analysis, and ongoing monitoring of supply chain income budgets and forecasts.
- Working closely with the Supply Management team to enhance income reporting and clearly communicate targets, reporting requirements, and performance expectations to buying teams.
- Finance professional - Looking to Study/Qualified by experience or Part Qualified.
- Proven experience working within commercial finance functions, ideally in a large or global organisation.
- Experience in a complex, contract-driven environment and/or within a Supply Management function.
- Strong IT capability, with advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills; experience with SAP and Power BI is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to think strategically and understand the wider commercial context.
