Responsibilities
- Deliver a quality, resident-focused Disrepair Surveyor Service working collaboratively with internal and external Legal Counsel, external contractors, and internal departments.
- Assist the team in ensuring that a high-quality service is delivered to help with the groups efficiencies to comply with relevant policies, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Be proactive in monitoring performance, meeting KPIs and taking decisive action to ensure issues are addressed. Address and resolve complex disrepair cases within a timely manner.
- Option to work in a hybrid way as agreed with manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in property maintenance with detailed knowledge of housing construction, disrepair & maintenance service delivery.
- Experience in maintenance surveying with ability to diagnose complex site problems; propose practical solutions; prepare costed specifications; manage contracts and project manage to resolution, contractors, operatives and site works; demonstrate excellent awareness of costs, value for money and health & safety risks.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of practice.
