A leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to take ownership of the commercial performance of a major Earthworks division. Operating across large-scale projects for both public and private sector clients, this organisation delivers complex schemes nationwide and has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial strategy for a portfolio of earthworks and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing commercial team.
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, and financial performance.
  • Provide commercial guidance to operational and senior leadership teams.
  • Negotiate and administer construction contracts including NEC, JCT, FIDIC, and ICC forms.
