A high calibre Structural Engineer is needed to join a dynamic and progressive structural design consultancy based in WC1. The role is ideally aimed at a candidate with a few years of design experience.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • The company delivers a wide variety of buildings design projects, often complex and architecturally led, including residential, commercial, datacentres, education, hotels and infrastructure, with many international projects.
  • Work within a team of around 15 staff, all managed by Chartered professionals.
  • Act as a technically excellent team player, with UK experience and experience of challenging international projects in seismic zones.
  • Liase with architects and overseas clients; overseas travel may be required at some points.
  • Have experience with ETABS and ROBOT.
  • Contribute to a forward‑thinking, flexible and innovative practice that values technical excellence and a social work environment.

Qualifications

  • Relevant engineering qualifications and professional registration.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Experience in multi‑disciplinary project delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel internationally where required.
