MadiganGill are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a reputable civil engineering client in Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for an immediate start on a minimum 2-month contract, with competitive day rates available.
Salary: £400 - £450 per day

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:00
Responsibilities:
- Setting out and ensuring works are delivered in line with technical drawings and specifications
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Providing technical support and guidance to site teams where required
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on groundworks, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects
- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Own kit preferred (rate dependent)
