A well-established construction consultancy near Marylebone is looking for a commercially aware Senior Project Manager with previous consultancy experience to join their growing project management team. The Senior Project Manager will offer support towards delivering new schemes across the commercial, residential and industrial sectors.
The Senior Project Manager will have prior experience supporting the delivery of high-value schemes across a variety of sectors. They will be a strong communicator enabling them to collaborate with the team and external parties throughout all stages of the project lifecycle ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards.
The Senior Project Manager will be joining a consultancy with 15+ offices and 4000+ employees across the UK. The role involves steering the delivery of schemes which include new builds, refurbishment and CAT A/B fit outs with contract values ranging from £1m-£75m.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Leading projects simultaneously from inception to completion
- Communicating effectively with internal and external parties throughout project lifecycles
- Supporting Assistant and Project Managers to resolve any challenges faced within schemes
- Reporting back to Project Directors and stakeholders with weekly updates
- Reviewing costs regularly to ensure schemes are within budget constraints
- Organising meetings with clients
- Ensuring all works are compliant with safety and quality standards
Senior Project Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience working at a Construction Consultancy
- Knowledge of Commercial, Residential and Industrial sector
- MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
- A relevant BSc/MSc in Construction industry would be ideal
- Experience of managing schemes simultaneously
- Ability to communicate effectively with a large team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
