Role Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to support rail renewal works in the Newcastle area. The role requires a strong background in track engineering, overseeing S&C and plain line renewals, ensuring delivery to design, managing site documentation, and supporting and developing junior engineers on site while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee S&C and plain line renewals and ensure works are delivered to design.
- Lead site engineering teams and manage site documentation.
- Support and develop junior engineers.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and documentation processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in rail renewals (S&C and plain line).
- Strong knowledge of tamping, stressing & track geometry.
- Experience with 3D dozer systems.
- Competent with total station setting out.
- Ability to lead site engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of H&S and documentation processes.
