We're working with a fast-growing building services consultancy that's doing things differently. Established by industry professionals who wanted to strip away unnecessary complexity, this business has quickly built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality MEP design, commissioning and operational support across commercial workplaces, data centres, aviation, residential and large-scale fit‑out projects. They're now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing London team. This is an opportunity to join a modern consultancy where you'll have real input into projects, close collaboration with senior leadership, and the chance to help shape the future of a business still early in its growth journey.

The Role

You’ll lead and support the delivery of electrical building services design across a range of technically challenging projects, working through all stages from concept to completion.

  • Commercial fit‑outs
  • Data centres

  • Aviation and infrastructure projects
  • Decarbonisation and sustainable design schemes

You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients and contractors, taking ownership of designs while mentoring junior engineers and supporting project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical design across RIBA stages
  • Produce calculations, specifications and technical drawings
  • Lead coordination with internal and external design teams
  • Attend client and site meetings
  • Support commissioning, witnessing and handover activities
  • Mentor junior engineers and graduates
  • Contribute to technical quality and project delivery standards

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience within building services consultancy
  • Strong electrical design background across commercial projects
  • Proficiency with industry software and design standards
  • Knowledge of lighting, small power, LV distribution and associated systems
  • Ability to manage projects and communicate confidently with clients
  • Ideally working toward or already Chartered
