Key Responsibilities
- Gather all contractual, commercial, and technical information from the sales and proposal stages.
- Stakeholder Management across all levels.
- Lead resource planning with teams to ensure appropriate resourcing, scheduling, and task allocation in line with contractual commitments and customer expectations.
- Proactively report project status, risks, and issues.
- Run regular stakeholder meetings, keeping their priorities continually in focus.
- Address and escalate technical issues as required alongside supporting teams such as engineering.
- Monitor and control stage payments and costs to meet contractual and budgetary requirements.
- Evaluate project challenges and implement solutions to meet performance, quality, and customer objectives.
- Ensure timely, quality delivery of goods and components through proactive expediting.
- Organise and attend tests conducted at the facility before the final go-live and securing customer acceptance.
- Attend site meetings and surveys with customers.
- Manage change orders, including negotiation of additional pricing as appropriate.
- Monitor installation and commissioning stages with particular focus on scheduling and health & safety.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, including Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Engineering.
- Formal qualification in Project Management.
- Experience in Project Management End to End.
- Strong understanding of the automation industry.
- Willingness to travel globally.
- Desire to progress into senior management.
