About The Role: We are seeking two experienced multi‑skilled electricians to join our internal maintenance service team. You will work in customers' homes and communal areas across Salford and Greater Manchester, delivering high‑quality electrical repairs and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with the possibility of securing a permanent role after the initial 3‑month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical repairs, replacements, and fault diagnosis.
- Complete rewires (1st and 2nd fix).
- Ensure all work complies with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Produce accurate certificates including EICR, Minor Works, and Installation Certificates (BS 7671).
- Work independently and record all work using a PDA/tablet.
- Provide excellent customer service while working in occupied homes.
What We're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition qualification.
- Strong experience in domestic electrical maintenance.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Confident using digital devices for job recording.
- Previous experience in social housing is beneficial but not essential.
Additional Information: Opportunity to join the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota, paid in addition to basic salary. Candidates must provide 3 years of references and have the right to work in the UK.
