Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed BMS design packages including control panel drawings, network architecture, and points schedules
- Develop control strategies and functional design specifications
- Create HVAC schematic drawings and system layouts
- Support project teams through design, commissioning, and delivery phases
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and project standards
- Assist with technical submittals and engineering documentation
- Provide technical support for upgrades, retrofits, and new installations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a BMS Design Engineer within the building automation industry
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and control philosophies
- Experience with BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls
- Ability to produce and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and relevant design software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Full right to work in the UK
