An established and trusted civil engineering and transport planning consultancy in London is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing team of 10. With a strong presence in the residential market, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in an established civils team.

What You’ll Do
- You will be the technical lead on residential sector projects, ranging from small to large-scale housing developments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering flood risk advice to support planning applications (FRA preparation)
- Designing strategic highways and drainage infrastructure
- Preparing detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Utilising Civil 3D, Site 3D, and Causeway Flow
- Designing and submitting SuDS schemes for adoption and/or long-term maintenance
What You’ll Need
- A degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of residential infrastructure projects
- Strong skills in Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, and Site 3D
- Ability to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and work independently
- Experience with flood risk assessments and sustainable drainage systems
24 days holiday (increases annually after 3 years) + bank holidays
