An established civil engineering and transport planning consultancy in London is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing team of 10. With a strong presence in the residential market, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in an established civils team.
Responsibilities
- You will be the technical lead on residential sector projects, ranging from small to large-scale housing developments.
- Delivering flood risk advice to support planning applications (FRA preparation).
- Designing strategic highways and drainage infrastructure.
- Preparing detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Utilising Civil 3D, Site 3D, and Causeway Flow.
- Designing and submitting SuDS schemes for adoption and/or long-term maintenance.
What You'll Need / Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of residential infrastructure projects.
- Strong skills in Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, and Site 3D.
- Ability to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and work independently.
- Experience with flood risk assessments and sustainable drainage systems.
