We're looking for an experienced Multi‑Skilled Joiner to join our team working on student accommodation across Preston. This role involves carrying out a wide range of maintenance works, ensuring rooms and communal areas remain safe, functional, and well‑presented for residents. This is a temporary‑to‑permanent position, offering long‑term stability for the right candidate and the chance to join a friendly, reliable, and well‑organised maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Joinery repairs including doors, frames, skirting, locks, and general carpentry.
- Planned & reactive maintenance across student accommodation buildings.
- Minor multi‑trade tasks such as patch plastering, basic plumbing fixes, and small painting repairs.
- Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Working closely with site management and accommodation teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Maintaining a professional and respectful approach in a student‑facing environment.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Multi‑Skilled Joiner or Joiner with maintenance experience.
- CSCS Card & NVQ Level 2 or above.
