Job Description
Role – Offsite Multi Skilled Operative Hourly rate: £15.32 per hour + Overtime + Opportunity to earn additional hourly rate between £0.25 – £4.38 based on skill set and behaviours. Based: Bristol Site – Severn View Industrial Park, Hallen
- When things are quiet you will be based in the yard in Bristol.
- Initially you be will in the yard to learn about our product and how we do things.
- Weekly Travel Covering the South West **(Gloucester, Swindon to Cornwall). ****Full UK Driving Licence** – You will thrive off being on the road, going to customer sites.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our successful Site Accommodation team at Portakabin based from Bristol but travelling weekly across the South West. At times when you are leading the installation/dismantling of a building at certain locations you would need to able to be flexible staying away for up to a week. You will Installation/dismantle of Konstructa units and rectifications off site plus refurbish and fit out the complete range of Konstructa buildings to the highest possible standards. Role Responsibilities *Undertake the advance preparation/decoration of all product surfaces, both internal and external. *Carry out basic joinery tasks inclusive of partition walls, doors, windows etc. *Carry out basic plumbing tasks inclusive of sink and toilet assembly, waste and drainage, copper and push fit fittings etc. *Undertake basic electrics inclusive of sockets, heaters, lighting etc, supporting in the preparation and first fix, on site. *Assist where required in the general fitting out and refurbishment of buildings both on and off site. *Lead the installation/dismantling of all buildings as part of a site team. *Maintain tools and equipment in order to maximise their use and prolonged life. *Assist in the movement of buildings in and out of the yard and report any damages to buildings. *Assist the safe movement of vehicles both on and off site. *Be thorough in the separation and segregation of waste to meet environmental requirements. *Develop sound customer relationships through effective communication to provide excellent levels of customer service. *Ensure already used fittings and materials are utilised as a priority without compromising quality. Essential Skills Required *Full UK Driving Licence – You will thrive off being on the road, going to customer sites. *Strong operational experience related to trade/role. *Experience in the Installation and dismantle of modular units. *Solid experience conducting site visits, planning and organising for the requirements of the Installation/dismantle. *Full UK driving licence and Forklift truck license. *Basic NVQ relevant to role. *Good level of numeracy/literacy. *Problem Solving, Customer Focused, strong Decision Making skills.
