A well-established local contractor specialising in social housing maintenance is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their team. This is a long-term opportunity to carry out high-quality repairs and refurbishments across a range of domestic social housing properties.
Job Details
Job Title: Multi Trade Operative
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Location: Uxbridge, London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Pay Rate: £19.77 per hour
Responsibilities
- Carrying out a variety of responsive repairs across void and occupied social housing properties.
- Repairing or replacing skirting boards, architraves, internal door frames, locks, handles, and hinges.
- Identifying and resolving minor plumbing issues, including leaks, taps, and blocked sinks.
- Completing patch plastering and making good damaged walls or ceilings.
- Undertaking wall and floor tiling repairs, including grouting and sealing.
- Painting and decorating to a high professional standard following repair works.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the company positively.
- Using a handheld electronic device to receive job instructions, update progress, and log completed works.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
