Multi skilled Operative with Forklift Licence
The Construction Index Ltd is looking for a Multi Skill Operative with a valid B1/B2 forklift licence to join our team in West Bromwich. The role involves refurbishment and fit‑out of buildings, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, supporting on‑time and cost‑effective delivery for customers.

- Hourly Rate: £15.32 per hour + up to £4.38 merit rate
- Contract type: Permanent
- Working hours: Monday‑Thursday 7:45am‑4:30pm, Friday 7:45am‑3:30pm

Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, organised and compliant working environment in line with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Follow technical instructions, RAMS and company procedures to complete work safely and efficiently.
- Carry out refurbishment and fit‑out activities according to technical specifications, SOPs and RAMS.
- Support colleagues with tasks across the team, providing assistance where qualified.
- Collaborate with the team and promptly escalates issues that cannot be resolved.

Qualifications
- Experience working across a variety of semi‑skilled operational activities.
- Practical skills acquired through training and supervised application.
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment and materials, and safe usage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as SOPs, RAMS and Method Statements.
- Valid B1 and B2 forklift licence.
