I am working with a client who has an exciting opportunity for an M&E Technician (Mechanical) to join their Facilities Management team based at a well-known hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent full-time position working from 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £39,500 - £41,500 per annum

The Role:
- Apply trade skills and experience to allocated jobs as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
- Work independently with minimal supervision or within a team to carry out maintenance, repair, or mechanical services, as well as refurbishments and new works on plant and equipment across the site.
- Communicate effectively with other trade staff such as engineers, especially for mechanical maintenance, new, and remedial works.
- Perform mechanical repairs and cleaning of mechanical components and equipment.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to plant breakdowns.
- Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
About You:
Essential:
- Recognised advanced mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- IT literate, with ambition for personal development.
Desirable:
- Healthcare experience.
- Experience in engineering across various service streams.
- HVAC training undertaken.
- MGPS experience.
