Hardgate Consulting is seeking a Senior/Principal Hydrologist based in Manchester. Salary up to £60,000 DOE. Type: Full Time. Region: UK - North West. Hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
- Flood Risk Assessments & ES chapters
- Hydrological modelling (FEH, ReFH2, WINFAP etc.)
- Site walkovers, surveys & risk assessments
- Liaison with regulators and stakeholders
- Supporting bids, mentoring juniors & shaping the team
What we need:
- 5–7+ years’ consultancy experience
- Degree in a relevant environmental discipline
- Chartered or working towards (C.WEM, CEnv etc.)
- Confident mentoring, reviewing and managing projects
- Strong client-facing and commercial awareness
- Experience with relevant industry software (HECRAS, TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, PDS, CAD etc.)
