Hardgate Consulting is seeking a Senior/Principal Hydrologist based in Manchester. Salary up to £60,000 DOE. Type: Full Time. Region: UK - North West. Hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

  • Flood Risk Assessments & ES chapters
  • Hydrological modelling (FEH, ReFH2, WINFAP etc.)
  • Site walkovers, surveys & risk assessments
  • Liaison with regulators and stakeholders
  • Supporting bids, mentoring juniors & shaping the team

What we need:

  • 5–7+ years’ consultancy experience
  • Degree in a relevant environmental discipline
  • Chartered or working towards (C.WEM, CEnv etc.)
  • Confident mentoring, reviewing and managing projects
  • Strong client-facing and commercial awareness
  • Experience with relevant industry software (HECRAS, TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, PDS, CAD etc.)
