Responsibilities:
- Take project ownership across surface water, foul drainage, and highways design
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the wider direction of the business
- Preliminary and detailed design of surface and foul water drainage systems
- Hydraulic modelling using InfoDrainage
- Highways and development infrastructure design
- Technical oversight and quality assurance
- Management and mentoring of engineers and technicians
- Liaison with Water Authorities, LLFAs, and other statutory bodies
- Providing internal and external best-practice guidance
- Input into bids, fee proposals, and project planning
- Collaborative working with architects, planners, and fellow engineers
About You (Qualifications):
- UK consultancy background in development-led civil engineering
- Strong technical grounding in drainage and highways design
- Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, or Causeway Flow
- Comfortable taking technical ownership and leading projects
- Ambitious, collaborative, and keen to influence both projects and company culture
