We are seeking a Senior Landscape Planner with expertise in LVIA to join a growing UK team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and expand a landscape planning service, delivering high-quality technical assessments across a diverse portfolio of projects, including solar farms, wind farms, and gas-to-grid biomethane plants.
In this client‑facing role, you will manage project teams, oversee delivery, and play a key part in winning new work. You will collaborate closely with EIA managers, technical experts, and landscape design teams, bringing your experience and knowledge to a supportive environment that values mentorship, professional growth, and sustainable landscape solutions.
The role can be based in any of our UK offices — London, Bristol, Warrington, Leeds, or Brighton — with a slight preference for London (Farringdon). We offer flexibility for full‑or part‑time arrangements, hybrid working, and occasional travel for site visits or client meetings.
We are looking for a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute or someone on the P2C, with demonstrable experience in carrying out LVIAs for both EIA and non‑EIA developments. A strong understanding of GLVIA Third Edition, UK planning policy, and guidance is essential, alongside experience with site assessments, photography, and technical software including Autodesk, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills are required, and a full UK driving licence is essential.
This is more than just a role; it's a chance to join a forward‑thinking consultancy at an exciting stage of growth, working on meaningful projects that shape landscapes while supporting your professional development with mentoring and external training opportunities. If you are passionate about landscapes, visual impact, and sustainable planning, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
