My client, one of South London's leading estate agencies, is seeking a junior Lettings Administrator to join their vibrant office in Herne Hill. The role involves supporting a close‐knit lettings team, handling move‐in files, and overseeing all tenancy paperwork from offer to move‐in. The ideal candidate has a proactive attitude, meticulous eye for detail, and excellent telephone manner.

Key Duties

  • Progress tenancies from acceptance to move‐in
  • Draft tenancy documents
  • Handle guarantor agreements and standing orders
  • Arrange inventory check‐ins, cleaning, gas safety records and portable appliance tests for properties
  • Resolve queries raised by landlords and tenants regarding tenancy and file progression
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, landlords and tenants
  • Upload rental listings onto the website and portals
  • Control reference acquisition through a third‐party reference company
  • Ensure all finances and move‐in funds are received
  • Provide support to the lettings team

Skills and Experience Required

  • Some proven property administration experience is desirable but not essential
