We are a long-established, global specialist in Building Management Solutions (BMS), delivering innovative systems for large commercial and residential properties. Due to continued growth and success, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver BMS projects at both a commercial and operational level. This role will be primarily focused on a key project in the South West (Dorset region), with additional projects likely based in London, where the majority of our work is delivered.
The Role
- As Project Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery from start to finish, ensuring work packages are completed:
- Safely
- On time
- Within budget
- To client specification
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage Building Management System projects in line with contractual scope, company procedures, and Health & Safety standards
- Oversee all contractual and commercial aspects including payments, variations, claims, and dispute resolution (with support from the Contracts Manager and Commercial team)
- Track financial performance, project risks, and progress, providing regular reports to senior management
- Provide technical support to customers and engineering teams using internal resources, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Produce clear project documentation including progress reports, change orders, and closeout packs
- Maintain strong customer relationships and support new business opportunities within the existing client base
- Ensure accurate billing and final account settlement
- Review technical documentation such as specifications, schematics, and schedules to support procurement and project planning
- Attend site visits and client meetings as required

- Proven experience in a similar Project or Contract Management role
- Strong technical understanding of Building Management Systems (highly desirable)
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary contracts, including commercial and financial elements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and committed to delivering quality results
- Flexibility to travel to project sites and work around project requirements
- A collaborative approach and ability to foster strong team ethos
