Job Overview
As an Assistant CDM Principal Designer, you will join a growing building safety team in Ipswich, working across commercial, hotel and mixed‑sector projects. Your role supports CDM Principal Designer duties and helps develop practical construction health and safety knowledge.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support CDM Principal Designer duties
- Assist with design risk reviews
- Review project information and risks
- Attend stakeholder meetings
- Support the preparation of reports and project documentation
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2+ years of construction experience
- Knowledge of construction health and safety
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of design stages
- Proactive, team-based approach
