A specialist glazing and fenestration contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its growing commercial team. Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects throughout London and the South East, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for a wide range of architectural glazing packages, helping secure new business and support continued growth. The Role
Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects throughout London and the South East, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for a wide range of architectural glazing packages, helping secure new business and support continued growth.

- Aluminium and steel windows and doors
- Curtain walling systems
- Rooflights
- Internal and external glazed balustrades
- Internal glass partitions
- Structural glazing
- Wall cladding systems
- Mirrors and specialist glazing packages
Key Responsibilities Include
- Reviewing tender enquiries, drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Interpreting architectural drawings and NBS specifications.
- Obtaining and analysing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Preparing detailed and competitive cost estimates.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to clarify project requirements.
- Evaluating installation durations and project resource requirements.
- Supporting value engineering exercises and alternative design solutions.
- Maintaining accurate estimating records and tender documentation.
- Assisting with project handovers to delivery teams following contract award.
- Attending project meetings and site visits when required.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous estimating experience within the glazing, fenestration, façade, curtain walling or related construction sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of glazing systems and associated construction methods.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Experience working with NBS specifications.
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Desirable
- Experience pricing curtain walling, windows, doors and structural glazing packages.
- Understanding of glazing installation sequencing and programme requirements.
- Experience using estimating, ERP or CRM software.
- Full UK driving licence.
