The Role
As part of an experienced Electrical Engineering team, you'll work on a diverse range of projects from concept through to completion, supporting the delivery of innovative and sustainable electrical building services designs.
- Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Producing electrical building services designs for a variety of projects.
- Assisting with the design of lighting, small power, fire alarm, security and other electrical systems.
- Preparing design calculations, technical reports and specifications.
- Coordinating designs with Mechanical Engineers, Architects and other design disciplines.
- Attending client meetings, design team meetings and site visits.
- Supporting project delivery while developing your technical and professional skills.
- Ensuring designs comply with current Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.
About You
This is not an entry‑level graduate role. Applicants must already have experience working within a Building Services consultancy.
- To Be Considered, You'll Have
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer within a Building Services consultancy.
- Experience contributing to electrical building services design on UK projects.
- Working knowledge of Auto CAD, with Revit experience being advantageous.
- An understanding of current Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for Building Services Engineering.
