The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a leading mechanical and electrical engineering contractor, delivering programmes of work across National Grid and Scottish Power frameworks within their Transmission & Distribution division. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are looking to appoint an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing works across the Central Belt.

Salary: £400 - £500 per day

Day To Day Duties:

  • Supporting the commercial management of multiple framework projects
  • Administering NEC contracts
  • Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts
  • Supporting cost forecasting, reporting and change management
  • Coordinating with operational teams to drive commercial performance
  • Identifying risks, issues and opportunities across projects
  • Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders

Working Arrangements:

  • Based in Glasgow with site travel as required
  • Hybrid working

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience within Quantity Surveying, ideally within Power or civil engineering environments
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams within a framework environment
  • Background within T&D is advantageous, but open to wider civils experience
  • Ability to manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts independently
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost reporting, forecasting and change management
