MSSI are looking for a Geo technical Engineer to join our growing team delivering ongoing ground investigation works across the West Midlands.
Overview
- Full‑time, 50 hours midweek (mostly days)
- Weekend work when required
- Long‑term contract - minimum 3.5 years

What You'll Be Doing
- Ground investigation works including logging, sampling, in‑situ testing and site supervision.
- Supporting geotechnical assessments for rail infrastructure projects.
- Working with drilling crews, contractors and project engineers on active sites.
- Preparing concise field records and contributing to technical reports.
Qualifications
- A degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or Geotechnical Engineering is preferred; a Masters degree in a relevant subject would be an asset but not essential.
- Current Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card is desirable.
- Guidance will be provided to successful graduate candidates on CSCS card training and applications.
