Job Description
Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for Gas Engineer on behalf of a social housing covering the North West. This is initially temporary with the view to going permanent.
You will be responsible for pre entry surveys, disconnections and reconnections. This is a field-based role requiring excellent technical knowledge, customer service skills, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Own vehicle and tools will be required for this position. Mileage paid for mileage between jobs.
Responsibilities
Pre entry surveys
Carry out routine gas servicing and safety checks in accordance with current regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work completed using handheld devices or job sheets.
Ensure all works comply with Gas Safe, health & safety, and relevant compliance standards.
Communicate clearly with tenants, housing officers, and coordinators.
Contribute to a positive customer experience and uphold the company\’s reputation.
Requirements
- Gas Safe Registration
Proven experience in social housing or domestic property maintenance.
Valid UK driving licence.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
This position is offering an hourly rate of £25 per hour. Temp to perm opportunity.
