Location: London (Hybrid) 3 Office days a week

Are you an experienced Environmental & Social professional looking to move beyond consultancy and take ownership of environmental and social performance across complex international infrastructure projects? We’re partnering with a growing international EPC contractor delivering turnkey healthcare, digital and public infrastructure projects across Africa and Southeast Asia. With a small portfolio of high‑value projects currently underway, this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping environmental and social outcomes from project development through to construction and operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Environmental & Social activities across project lifecycles
  • Manage the procurement and review of key E&S deliverables, including:
    • Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs)
    • Environmental & Social Management Plans (ESMPs)
    • Stakeholder Engagement Plans (SEPs)
    • Environmental and social monitoring programmes
  • Oversee specialist consultants and contractors
  • Support construction teams on E&S compliance and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure alignment with international lender requirements, including IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and ECA expectations
  • Engage with regulators, communities and project stakeholders to manage environmental and social risks effectively

About You

  • Significant experience delivering or reviewing ESIAs for infrastructure, energy, built environment or industrial projects
  • Strong environmental management and regulatory compliance expertise
  • Experience working to IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and international financing requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Consultancy or owner's engineer background with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Experience working on international projects, particularly within emerging markets, would be advantageous
